| Diamonds are a precious and
rare gemstone which has a brilliant fire and lustre.
It is also the hardest mineral on earth and its
name is in fact Greek for ¡°unconquerable¡± which
refers to its hardness. Whilst diamonds are strong
gemstones, care must still be taken to ensure the
longevity and brilliance of the stone. We suggest
the following ideas to take care of your diamond:
- Diamonds can still be damaged upon
impact, especially at its points so please avoid
wearing diamonds whilst doing heavy or demanding
activities
- Please store diamond jewellery separately as
diamonds can still be scratched by another diamond
- Its best to avoid contact with harsh chemicals
as it may dull the diamond or damage the setting
- Have your diamond jewellery cleaned yearly as
well as having any prongs in the setting to check
in case it is loose
